EGIS PT 24V 30A Time-Delay Relay

The EGIS PT Series 24V 30A Time Delay Relay keeps accessory equipment powered for a selected period after engine shutdown, then disconnects the load automatically to protect the battery. It is useful for systems that need time to finish a task after the vehicle or boat is turned off, such as video or data downloads, without leaving those loads connected indefinitely.

The relay can be controlled from the ignition key, alternator voltage sensing, or both, and the OFF delay is adjustable from 15 minutes to 8 hours. A 5-second test setting makes commissioning faster. Under-voltage and over-voltage protection help shield sensitive electronics and can remove the load if battery conditions become unsafe, while onboard multi-color LEDs provide immediate diagnostic feedback.

Off-state current draw is only 1.3 mA, reducing the chance that the control device itself contributes to a dead battery. The sealed high-temperature construction includes integrated thermal-overload protection, meets stringent OEM transient-protection requirements, and is covered by a 4-year manufacturer warranty.
