EGIS 70A 87 Series Panel-Mount Circuit Breaker

Built for protected DC distribution, the EGIS 70A 87 Series Panel-Mount Circuit Breaker combines automatic fault protection with manual circuit switching. It can serve as both the breaker for the protected conductor and a convenient disconnect when equipment needs to be isolated for inspection or maintenance.

Voltage support extends through 48VDC, so the same breaker family can be used across common 12V and 24V systems as well as 36V and 48V installations. The housing is sealed against dust and water, and the ignition-protected design is intended for enclosed compartments. EGIS rates the breaker for 6,000 full-current switching cycles and for high interrupt duty on large battery-bank circuits.

For the connection hardware, EGIS uses stainless steel, serrated flange nuts, and silicone terminal covers to help resist vibration and corrosion. The panel format gives the installer flexibility to place the breaker where circuit status and manual control are easy to reach.
