EGIS 120A 87 Series Panel-Mount Circuit Breaker

The EGIS 120A 87 Series Panel-Mount Circuit Breaker provides automatic over-current protection and manual circuit switching in a sealed high-current design. It is intended for battery-fed DC circuits where a breaker may need to handle substantial available fault current while still serving as a convenient service disconnect.

The sealed construction protects against dust and water intrusion, and the high-voltage rating supports common 12V and 24VDC systems as well as 36V and 48VDC applications. Electrical and manual switching endurance is rated at 6,000 cycles at full current. High interrupt capability makes the breaker suitable for circuits connected to large paralleled battery banks. The unit is ignition protected for installation in enclosed spaces where explosive gases may be present.

For harsh-environment service, the breaker uses stainless-steel hardware, serrated flange nuts, and silicone terminal covers to resist corrosion and vibration. The panel-mount format lets the installer choose a layout suited to the available panel or equipment space.
