EGIS 120A 87 Series Panel-Mount Circuit Breaker

The EGIS 120A 87 Series Panel-Mount Circuit Breaker gives a battery-fed DC circuit automatic over-current protection and a manual way to open the circuit for service. The sealed high-current design is intended for installations where substantial fault current may be available from the battery bank, while the panel format keeps the control accessible at the equipment face.

The breaker supports 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48VDC applications. Its sealed construction helps keep dust and water away from the mechanism, while ignition-protected construction allows use in enclosed locations where explosive gases may be present. Electrical and manual switching endurance is rated at 6,000 cycles at full current, and the interrupt capability is designed for circuits connected to large paralleled battery banks.

Stainless-steel hardware, serrated flange nuts, and silicone terminal covers are used to improve corrosion resistance and connection security in harsh service. The panel-mount arrangement can be positioned to suit the available equipment layout while keeping the breaker visible and accessible.
