Description

The Digital Yacht SeaTalk1 to NMEA Converter links an older Raymarine SeaTalk1 network with NMEA 0183 equipment. It converts in both directions. That lets SeaTalk instruments share data with newer gear, and third-party NMEA sensors feed a SeaTalk system.

It takes power from the SeaTalk network and connects with the familiar red, black and yellow wires. A multi-transistor SeaTalk interface, an opto-isolated NMEA 0183 input and a differential NMEA 0183 output keep data reliable. It converts all the key navigation data.

Paired with a Digital Yacht wireless server such as the WLN10, it lets SeaTalk owners go wireless to tablets. A raw data mode ($STALK) serves developers and open source projects.
