Description
The Condor Wayfinder has a 5-inch 1095HC blade in Condor classic finish, full tang through a walnut handle, at 10.13 inches overall, with a lanyard hole and a brown leather belt sheath.
Walnut on a working fixed blade is a choice rather than a saving. It costs more than molded polymer, needs occasional oiling, and warms in the hand where a synthetic stays cold. 1095HC takes a very keen edge and strops back quickly, developing a patina that slows further corrosion once established.
The Condor classic finish leaves an uneven gray oxide on the blade rather than polishing it away, which is how forged blades were traditionally protected. At 5 inches the blade handles camp cooking, carving and light chopping without becoming unwieldy on a belt. Explore more Camp and Field Knives.
