Description

The Condor Talon has a 4.63-inch 1095HC steel drop point blade in Condor classic finish with a full tang at 9 inches overall, a black linen micarta handle and a gray Kydex sheath with a black leather belt loop.

Linen micarta is finer in texture than the canvas version, since the cloth layers are tighter woven, and it polishes smoother while still gripping when damp. The Condor classic finish leaves an uneven gray oxide on the blade rather than polishing it away, which is how forged blades were traditionally protected.

1095HC takes a very keen edge and strops back quickly, developing a patina that slows further rust once established. Combining a Kydex sheath with a leather belt loop takes the water resistance of one and the quiet carry of the other. Explore more Survival and Bushcraft.
