Description

The Condor K-Tact Kukri has a 9.5-inch satin 1075HC steel kukri blade with a full tang at 15 inches overall, a green canvas micarta handle, a stainless pommel and an OD green Kydex belt sheath.

The kukri is a Nepalese pattern and the forward bend is the whole design. Angling the blade down ahead of the grip moves the point of impact away from the wrist, so the weight of the blade does the chopping rather than the arm driving it. The stainless pommel is what separates the K-Tact from Condor's other kukris. It caps the tang so the butt can take hammering without splitting the scales.

1075HC is tough rather than hard, absorbing repeated impact without chipping and coming back with a file in the field. Canvas micarta grips harder as hands get damp, and Kydex holds the blade with a positive snap rather than friction. Explore more Survival and Bushcraft.
