The Condor Moonshiner has a 9-inch 1075 high carbon steel blade with a full tang at 14.75 inches overall, a wood handle with a lanyard hole and a hand-crafted welted leather sheath.

A welted sheath has a strip of leather sandwiched between the two faces along the stitch line, which keeps the thread away from the edge. Without it a blade this long saws through its own stitching over time. That is hand work rather than machine assembly, and it is the difference between a sheath that lasts and one that opens up in a season.

1075 carbon steel is tough rather than hard, absorbing repeated impact without chipping and coming back with a file in the field.
