Description

The Condor Trivittata Puukko has a 3.5-inch natural finish 1095HC steel blade with a full tang at 7.75 inches overall, a brown micarta handle, a lanyard hole and a brown leather belt sheath.

The puukko is the Finnish general knife, short bladed with a simple straight profile and no guard, built on the idea that a knife is used for wood, food and rope rather than for fighting. Condor builds it full tang where a traditional puukko runs a hidden tang, which trades some of the pattern's lightness for strength under batoning.

1095HC takes a very keen edge and strops back quickly, and natural finish means unpolished steel that darkens fast and needs to be kept dry. Micarta grips harder as hands get damp and will not go brittle in cold the way molded plastic can. Explore more Survival and Bushcraft.
