The Cobratec EDC Scout has a 3.13-inch satin VG-10 stainless drop point blade, an OD green textured Grivory handle, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 4.75 inches on a bar lock.

VG-10 is a Japanese stainless prized for balancing edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance, and it is a step above the steels usually fitted at this price. A bar lock is a spring-loaded crossbar released from either side, so the knife works the same in either hand and closes without fingers crossing the blade path.
