Description

The CJRB Mutt has a 3.25-inch sand blast AR-RPM9 harpoon blade at 6.88 inches overall, a brown wood handle over a full tang, a lanyard hole and a black Kydex belt sheath.

The harpoon blade takes its name from the notch cut into the spine near the tip, which drops the point below the spine line and leaves a hooked shoulder behind it. That shoulder gives somewhere to hook material and pull, and the dropped point keeps the tip out of the way when the blade is pushed through something.

AR-RPM9 is Artisan's powder steel, pressed from steel powder rather than cast, so the grain is finer and more even than a conventional steel of the same recipe. Sand blasting leaves a flat matte surface that cuts glare and hides handling marks, and Kydex holds the blade with a positive snap rather than friction. Explore more Utility and Work Knives.
