The Civivi Thug 2 has a 2.75-inch bead blast Nitro-V steel tanto blade, a black G10 handle, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 3.75 inches, with a zippered storage case.

Nitro-V is an American stainless made by adding nitrogen to 14C28N during melting. The nitrogen forms hard nitrides alongside the carbides, raising both edge retention and corrosion resistance above the steel it started from. That is a lot of steel for a knife this size, and it is the reason to look at the Thug 2 over cheaper compact folders.
