Description

The Civivi Thug 2 has a 2.75-inch bead blast Nitro-V steel tanto blade, a dark green micarta handle, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 3.75 inches, with a zippered storage case.

Micarta rather than the G10 on the black version gives a handle that grips harder as hands get damp and wears in to a smoother, darker surface over years rather than staying fixed. Nitro-V is an American stainless made by adding nitrogen to 14C28N, which raises both edge retention and corrosion resistance above the steel it started from.

Bead blasting leaves a flat matte surface with no directional grain, killing glare completely though it shows fingerprints more than satin. The tanto puts a reinforced corner at the front for piercing, trading the sweeping slice a drop point gives. Explore more Tactical Linerlocks.
