Description
The Civivi Mini Praxis has a 3-inch Damascus blade, layered and etched so no two come out alike, in a brown wood handle with a liner lock and pocket clip, closing to 4 inches, opened by extended tang and supplied in a zippered case.
Damascus is made by forge-welding alternating layers of steel and folding them repeatedly, then etching the finished blade so the layers show as a flowing pattern. No two blades come out identical. Wood rather than the G10 or micarta usual on this pattern gives the Mini Praxis a dressier character, warming in the hand where a synthetic stays cold.
The extended tang is a tab past the pivot pushed with the thumb, so nothing protrudes from the blade to catch in a pocket. At 4 inches closed this is the compact version of the Praxis, sized to carry without notice. Explore more Gentleman Linerlocks.
