The Civivi Perf has a 3.13-inch stonewashed Nitro-V steel blade, a gray skeletonized stainless handle, an extended tang and a pocket clip, closing to 4 inches on a frame lock, with a zippered storage case.

Skeletonizing cuts material out of the handle, which is what keeps an all-steel frame lock from being heavy. The perforations are the name and the design at once. It also means the handle is open rather than solid, so nothing collects inside it and the whole knife rinses clean.

Nitro-V is an American stainless made by adding nitrogen to 14C28N, which raises both edge retention and corrosion resistance above the base steel. A frame lock uses the handle slab itself as the locking bar, so lockup tightens under pressure rather than loosening. Explore more Framelock Knives.
