The lockout slide physically prevents connecting both AC sources at the same time, eliminating a dangerous and common wiring mistake. All hot, neutral, and safety ground buses are pre-wired at the factory, and a red reverse-polarity LED plus backlit labels keep the panel easy to read and safe to use.
