Blue Sea 1208 120V AC 2-Source 30A Selector Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 1208 is a 120V AC source selector handling two 30A inputs, with mechanical lockout slides between the breakers.

The lockout slides make it physically impossible to close both breakers at once, and that is the part worth paying for. Backfeeding a generator onto shore wiring, or the reverse, damages equipment and puts dock workers at risk. A mechanical interlock removes the possibility rather than relying on someone remembering the sequence.

Two 7574 A-Series raised rocker double-pole 30A breakers do the switching, which means each source has real over-current protection rather than only a selector position. That distinguishes it from a rotary selector, which switches sources but protects nothing.
