Description
The Blue Sea Systems 7615 ATD Automatic Timer Disconnect drops non-essential 12V loads after a delay from 15 minutes to four hours, rated 120A continuous.
The problem this solves is specific. Stereos, lighting and accessories left running after the ignition goes off will flatten a starting battery in an afternoon. A trigger signal connects the loads. When that signal is removed the timer counts down and disconnects them after the selected delay, so the music keeps playing while people pack up and then stops on its own.
Low-voltage protection can disconnect the circuit sooner when the battery needs preserving, which covers the case where the delay is longer than the bank can support. The timer and voltage functions can also be disabled where simple signal-based disconnect behavior is preferred.
An integrated LED shows operating status and a clip-on cover insulates the terminal connections. It handles 120A continuous with robust stainless flange nuts on the main terminals. Explore more bus bars and power distribution.
- Loads keep running, then disconnect on their own
- Accessories left on will flatten a starter in an afternoon
- Delay adjustable from 15 minutes to four hours
- Low-voltage cutoff can disconnect sooner
