Blue Sea 7504 DeckHand Digital Dimmer - 6A/24V

The Blue Sea Systems 7504 DeckHand Digital Dimmer controls non-regulated LED, incandescent and halogen lighting at 6A on 24V, with a momentary control switch included.

Non-regulated is the specification that decides compatibility, and it is where most dimming installations go wrong. Regulated LED fixtures hold their own brightness and ignore a dimmer, or flicker as it tries. Non-regulated fixtures respond to the supply voltage, which is what this controls.

Digital control rather than a resistor-style approach gives consistent adjustment across LED, incandescent and halogen loads on the same dimmer. It also remembers the previous brightness setting, so lights come back on where they were left rather than at full.

An illuminated exit function stays on for an adjustable period after the main lighting is switched off, which covers leaving a cabin or passageway after dark.
