Description

The Blue Sea 7042 187-Series Thermal Circuit Breaker combines switching and circuit protection into a single 80A device. It is designed for boaters who need a heavy-duty manual breaker with a clear indication of trip status at a glance.

A large lever provides vertical or horizontal position indication for instant trip status, and the trip-free design means it can't be held ON during a fault current condition. A self-trimming case eliminates the need for mounting panels or trim bezels, and the round case installs cleanly with a standard hole saw. It's fully waterproof with recessed mounting holes for a clean install, robust 5/16-inch terminals for high-torque connections, and ignition protected to SAE J1171 for safe use aboard gasoline-powered boats. For more compatible options, shop our marine circuit breakers.

Key Features

  • Self-trimming round case for hole-saw installation: self-trimming round case for hole-saw installation.
  • No mounting panel or bezel required: no mounting panel or bezel required.
  • Large lever shows trip status by orientation: large lever shows trip status by orientation.
  • Suit applicable enclosed marine spaces: ignition protected to SAE J1171.
  • Ignition-protected construction supports installation where spark protection is required: Ignition-protected construction supports installation where spark protection is required.
