Blue Sea 7035 25A 187-Series Panel Mount Breaker

The Blue Sea Systems 7035 is a 25 amp panel mount breaker in the 187 Series, the smallest panel mount rating, rated to 48 volts DC.

Twenty-five amps in a panel mount case gives a visible, resettable protection point on the panel face for a small circuit. That visibility is the argument over an inline fuse. A tripped lever is obvious from across the cabin, where a blown fuse hidden in a run behind joinery gets found by process of elimination.

The round self-trimming case installs through a bulkhead with a standard hole saw and finishes its own edge, so no bezel or trim ring is needed. Fitting a small breaker properly then takes about as long as fitting a large one, which is the point of the case design.

Interrupt capacity is 5,000 amperes at 12 volts DC, 3,000 at 24 and 1,500 at 42, in Type III class with manual reset and trip free operation.
