Description
The Blue Sea Systems 5032 ST-Blade Split Bus Fuse Block has twelve ATO/ATC circuits divided into two isolated groups of six, rated 100A total and 30A per circuit.
The split bus is the point. Two electrically isolated groups of six mean one block can serve two different supplies. That covers a boat with two battery banks, or more commonly one that needs always-live 24-hour circuits kept separate from circuits switched by the main battery switch.
Bilge pumps, alarms and memory feeds belong on the always-live half. Everything else goes on the switched half and dies with the main switch. Achieving that with a single-bus block means fitting two blocks and finding room for both.
Screw terminals accept ring terminals, with tin-plated copper buses and fuse clips for conductivity and corrosion resistance. The clear cover has label recesses and storage for two spare fuses, with a push-button latch for fuse changes and an integrated negative bus connection. Fuses are sold separately. Explore more bus bars and power distribution.
- Two isolated groups of six from one block
- Always-live circuits kept separate from switched ones
- A single-bus block would mean fitting two
- Spare fuse storage in the cover
