Description

The BEP Marine Pro Installer EZ-Mount Double Pole Battery Switch isolates both positive and negative at 400A continuous, waterproof to IP67.

Double-pole isolation breaks the negative as well as the positive, which single-pole switches leave permanently connected. On a metal-hulled vessel that matters. A connected negative gives stray current a path through the hull, and stray current is what drives galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals below the waterline.

It also gives a higher level of separation when working on a system or in an emergency, since nothing remains live through the negative side. A removable knob keeps the circuit intentionally isolated during service so it cannot be switched back on while someone has their hands in it.

EZ-Mount construction wires from the front, cutting the rear access needed during surface-mount installation. The shared interconnection height clusters it directly with Pro Installer bus bars, and it is individually tested for sealing, rotational force and electrical load. Explore more battery switches.
