The BeaverCraft Wild Harvest has a 3.5-inch satin 1066 carbon steel blade with a Scandi grind and a full tang at 8.5 inches overall, a walnut handle, a lanyard hole and a brown leather belt sheath.

BeaverCraft builds carving tools first and bushcraft knives second, and it shows in the grind. A Scandi bevel runs from the blade's flat straight down to the edge with nothing behind it, which is what lets it take a controlled shaving off wood. It also sharpens simply, since laying the bevel flat on a stone puts the edge at exactly the right angle without judgment.

1066 carbon steel takes a very keen edge and strops back quickly, developing a patina that slows further rust once established. Walnut is dense enough to take an oil finish well and dampens vibration better than any synthetic. Explore more Survival and Bushcraft.
