Barton Marine 1000mm Carbon Blue-Grip Tiller Extension

The Barton Marine 1000mm Carbon Blue-Grip Tiller Extension gives the helmsman 1000mm of reach while keeping the tiller responsive from a wider range of cockpit positions. The grip is shaped for secure, comfortable handling during longer periods at the helm. Its lightweight tube construction keeps the extension easy to move without making the steering feel cumbersome. This model is intended for dinghy and small-boat sailors who need extra reach while hiking, trimming, or shifting weight through a maneuver.

Features the latest in uni-directional 16mm carbon fiber tube, which incorporates an additional pull wound spiral layer for optimum strength, making it stronger than conventional carbon fiber tube, and with Barton Marine's custom-designed foam grip handle to reduce fatigue during long periods of use. *Includes tiller clip. The carbon tube uses a unidirectional layup with an additional spiral layer to increase strength without making the extension feel heavy. A custom foam grip gives the helmsman a cushioned, non-slip contact point during long periods of steering.

• Extended reach helps the helmsman move around the cockpit
• Comfort grip supports longer periods at the helm
• Lightweight tube construction keeps steering response direct
• Designed for dinghy and small-boat tiller control

For the 1000mm Carbon Blue-Grip Tiller Extension, fit the extension so its universal joint moves freely through the steering range and the grip clears nearby cockpit hardware. The included tiller clip, where supplied with the carbon models, provides a simple place to secure the extension when it is not being used.
