Barton Marine 900mm Aluminum Soft-Grip Tiller Extension

The Barton Marine 900mm Aluminum Soft-Grip Tiller Extension gives the helmsman 900mm of reach while keeping the tiller responsive from a wider range of cockpit positions. The grip is shaped for secure, comfortable handling during longer periods at the helm. Its lightweight tube construction keeps the extension easy to move without making the steering feel cumbersome. This model is intended for dinghy and small-boat sailors who need extra reach while hiking, trimming, or shifting weight through a maneuver.

The aluminum Soft Grip Tiller Extension is a specially designed textured grip for secure handling and comfort during prolonged use. The anodized aluminum tube keeps the 900 mm extension light and corrosion resistant for regular dinghy use. Its foam soft-grip handle adds texture and cushioning where the helmsman holds the extension. The soft butt-end option is intended to make repeated repositioning around the cockpit more comfortable.

• Soft butt-end option
• Extended reach helps the helmsman move around the cockpit
• Comfort grip supports longer periods at the helm
• Lightweight tube construction keeps steering response direct

For the 900mm Aluminum Soft-Grip Tiller Extension, fit the extension so its universal joint moves freely through the steering range and the grip clears nearby cockpit hardware. The included tiller clip, where supplied with the carbon models, provides a simple place to secure the extension when it is not being used.
