Barton Marine 10 in Aluminum Winch Handle

The Barton Marine 10 in Aluminum Winch Handle is a light-duty handle for single-speed sailboat winches and standard deck filler caps using the International Star socket. The profiled aluminum bar is anodized for protection and keeps the handle light enough for routine cockpit use. An integral roller grip lets the crew turn the winch smoothly without adding a separate handle assembly. This model is intended for lighter winching jobs rather than high-load racing or large-yacht applications.

Light-duty and inexpensive, they come in two popular sizes. Each handle features a silver anodized profiled bar with an integral roller handle and star socket. Intended for single-speed winches and light use only, these have a working load of 40kg (88lbs). International Star socket fits common sailboat winches.

• International Star socket fits common sailboat winches
• Integral roller grip supports smooth cranking
• Also fits standard deck filler caps
• Intended for light-duty, single-speed winch use

For the 10 in Aluminum Winch Handle, insert the star socket fully into the winch before loading the handle, and use it only on the lighter single-speed applications for which it is intended. The same socket pattern also fits standard deck filler caps, giving the handle a useful secondary job aboard. For more winch and sail-handling hardware, browse more Sailing Hardware.
