Balmar 120A 12V Single Foot J10 Isolated Ground Alt

The Balmar 621 Series Alternator puts out 120 amps at 12 volts. It runs through a 1-2 inch single foot spindle mount with a J10 AltMount serpentine pulley, a different belt style than the vee-pulley versions in the same mounting family.

Isolated ground construction keeps the alternator's case electrically separate from the engine block. That separation reduces stray current paths that can cause corrosion or interference issues elsewhere on the boat's electrical system.

The 1-inch Motorola-style mounting fits Westerbeke, Lehman, Hino, and Pathfinder engines. The 2-inch Delco-style mounting covers Volvo Penta, John Deere, Perkins, Mercruiser, Pleasurecraft, Crusader, Indmar, and other GM-based engines. Explore more marine alternators.
