The Balmar 604 Series Alternator puts out 150 amps at 12 volts. It runs through a 4-inch dual foot saddle mount with a K6 serpentine pulley, a heavier-duty footprint than the 60 or 621 Series lines.
Isolated ground construction keeps the alternator's case electrically separate from the engine block. That separation reduces stray current paths that can cause corrosion or interference issues elsewhere on the boat's electrical system.
It uses J-180-style mounting, typical for Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and John Deere engines. It directly replaces the 604-150-SR-IG part number. Shop more marine alternators.
