The Balmar 60 Series 100A Saddle Mount Alternator has a single deep-V pulley and isolated ground, for 3.15-inch dual-foot Hitachi-style mounts.

A single deep-V pulley suits an installation retaining its existing V-belt drive rather than converting to serpentine. That keeps the upgrade simple, since no crankshaft pulley change is needed, and it is the practical route on an engine where conversion parts are not available.

The limit is what a single V-belt will transmit, and 100 amps is near the top of it. Anything more needs a dual V-belt or a serpentine conversion, since a single belt will slip and glaze under sustained high output.
