Description

The Baladeo Electricians Knife has a 2.5-inch stainless blade in a black plastic handle, closing to 3.5 inches on a slip joint.

An electrician's knife has a blunted, squared-off blade tip rather than a point, because the job is stripping insulation and scoring cable jackets where a point would nick the conductor underneath. That squared tip also means the blade can be pressed flat against a surface without the point catching, which is how insulation is peeled back.

A slip joint holds the blade on spring tension with no lock to release, and the knife falls outside carry restrictions that apply to locking folders in many places. At 3.5 inches closed it sits in a tool pouch or a shirt pocket without adding bulk. Explore more Folding Knives.
