The Ruike D198 has a 4.25-inch satin 8Cr13MoV blade in a black nylon handle, closing to 5.25 inches, with a liner lock, extended tang, lanyard hole and pocket clip.

A 4.25-inch blade on a folder is unusual, and it changes what the knife handles. Breaking down boxes, cutting rope and slicing through packing straps all get easier with length that a 3-inch blade has to work at. 8Cr13MoV is the workhorse stainless of this price class, chosen because it sharpens back quickly on any stone and forgives neglect.
