The Lansky Responder has a 3.25-inch 440C stainless blade with an extended tang and thumb slot, black and green G10 handles, a lanyard hole and a stainless pocket clip.

Two openers is the useful detail. The extended tang and the thumb slot both start the blade, so the knife works the same whichever hand reaches for it and whichever grip the hand happens to be in. 440C was for decades the benchmark stainless in production knives and still earns a place: high chromium for corrosion resistance, enough carbon for a fine edge, and it sharpens back without diamond abrasives.

G10 is fiberglass cloth cured in resin, holding its shape through heat, cold and damp where molded plastic can distort. The two-tone black and green scales are laminated rather than painted, so the color runs through the material. Explore more Modern EDC Linerlocks.
