Attwood 12 in Aluminum LightArmor All-Round Light

The Attwood LightArmor all-round light combines a long-life LED engine with rigid corrosion-resistant pole with a vertical composite base. The optical system is designed to reduce glare toward the operator while directing the required navigation signal outward. Condensation-management features help maintain lens clarity in changing temperatures and humid marine conditions. A lighter lamp head reduces unnecessary pole movement compared with older all-round light designs.

The fold-down LightArmor base uses a robust cam-lock that can be operated with one hand when the pole needs to be lowered. A locking collar holds the light securely in normal use, while the articulating head helps the installer keep the lamp oriented correctly on angled mounting surfaces. Electronics are designed to tolerate shock, corrosion, and water exposure in harsh marine environments. The LED engine is intended for extended service life and is backed by a long manufacturer warranty. Attwood states that the LightArmor head is about 30% lighter than its earlier all-round light design, helping reduce pole movement. The LED engine is rated for more than 50,000 hours of use and carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty. The fixture is U.S. Coast Guard certified for the intended vessel application and is specified for boats up to 39.4 ft (12 m).

Install the base where the pole can fold without contacting windshields, canvas, or other hardware. Inspect the locking collar and cam mechanism periodically so the light remains secure and easy to deploy. For compatible replacement parts and related equipment, browse more Navigation Lights.
