Ancor 22-18 Heatshrink Butt Connectors 500-Pack

The Ancor 22-18 AWG Heat Shrink Butt Connectors are a 500-pack with cross-linked polyolefin tubing and an adhesive liner.

The adhesive liner is what makes these sealed rather than merely covered. Heating the tubing shrinks it onto the wire insulation while the adhesive flows and fills the gap. An unlined heat shrink connector still lets moisture wick along the conductor underneath it.

Cross-linked polyolefin is tougher than standard PVC insulation and holds up to oil, chemicals and ultraviolet light. That matters where a splice sits in a bilge or an engine space rather than behind a dry panel.
