The Ancor 16-14 AWG Heat Shrink Butt Connectors are a 500-pack with cross-linked polyolefin tubing and an adhesive liner.

Sixteen to 14 AWG covers the most common wire sizes on a boat, which makes this the pack that empties first. Lighting, pumps, electronics and general accessory circuits nearly all land in this range, so a 500-pack is realistic rather than excessive on any substantial job.

Cross-linked polyolefin tubing is tougher than standard PVC and includes a heat-activated adhesive lining. Heated properly, the tubing shrinks tightly onto the wire insulation while the adhesive forms a water-resistant seal at both ends of the splice.
