Description

The Airmar B785C-M Bronze CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer is a 600 watt medium-band CHIRP transducer that sweeps from 80 to 130 kHz. It is a bronze thru-hull model with a fairing block. It is the same physical size as Airmar's B744V.

The medium band works well for mid-depth fishing and covers the popular 88 and 107 kHz frequencies. The beam narrows from 24 to 16 degrees across the sweep. A fast-response water temperature sensor is built in.

The fairing block lets the transducer sit level on hulls with deadrise up to about 24 degrees. This version comes with a bare wire cable for connecting to your sounder. The bronze housing is for fiberglass or wood hulls, so check your hull material before ordering. A thru-hull install means drilling the hull, so many owners have it done at haul-out by a qualified installer. Other transducers are in our marine transducers section.
