Airmar B765C-LM Bronze CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer

The Airmar B765C-LM Bronze CHIRP Thru-Hull Transducer is a thru-hull CHIRP transducer with low and medium bands for smaller fishing boats. The low band sweeps from 40 to 75 kHz with a 32 to 21 degree beam, and the medium band sweeps from 80 to 130 kHz with a 24 to 16 degree beam. That gives 85 kHz of total bandwidth and covers the popular 50, 88 and 107 kHz fishing frequencies.

The low band runs at 300 watts and the medium band at 600 watts. CHIRP gives much more detail than single-frequency sonar, so you can tell individual baitfish, gamefish and structure apart. A fast-response water temperature sensor is built in.

A bronze housing with a high-performance fairing handles hull deadrise up to 24 degrees, and it weighs about 5.5 lb. Airmar sizes it for boats around 30 ft. Note that this transducer does not work with Simrad or Lowrance displays. Airmar's Xducer ID technology lets a compatible fish finder recognize the transducer and set itself up automatically. This model needs a separate Airmar Mix and Match cable for your brand of display, sold separately. If you change electronics brands later, you can leave the transducer in the hull and just swap the cable. The bronze housing is for fiberglass or wood hulls, so check your hull material before ordering.
