Airmar B75HW Bronze 20-Degree 600W Thru-Hull Transducer

The Airmar B75HW Bronze 20-Degree 600W Thru-Hull Transducer is a low-profile, high-frequency wide-beam CHIRP transducer for smaller boats such as center consoles. It sweeps from 150 to 250 kHz with a wide 30 degree beam and up to 100 kHz of bandwidth. That gives strong target separation on baitfish and schooling gamefish with wide coverage under the boat.

At 600 watts, it reads to about 350 ft, with great shallow-water performance and bottom detail. The ceramic element sits at a fixed 20 degree tilt inside the housing, which suits hulls with 16 to 24 degree deadrise. With the transducer mounted nearly flush, that tilt cancels out the hull angle and points the beam straight down for the strongest echo returns. A fast-response water temperature sensor is built in.

The low-profile housing gives good resolution at speed when installed properly and works on stepped, planing and displacement hulls. It needs a 2-13/16 in hole and suits boats up to about 29 ft. Airmar's Xducer ID technology lets a compatible fish finder recognize the transducer and set itself up automatically. This model needs a separate Airmar Mix and Match cable for your brand of display, sold separately. If you change electronics brands later, you can leave the transducer in the hull and just swap the cable. The bronze housing is for fiberglass or wood hulls, so check your hull material before ordering.
