The Airmar B60 is a 600-watt bronze thru-hull transducer built around Airmar's Tilted Element design, which angles the ceramic element inside a low-profile housing so the sonar beam points more directly downward on deadrise hulls. This 20-degree version is intended for installations where the internal element angle matches the hull geometry, helping maximize echo returns without using a traditional protruding fairing block.

Dual-frequency 50/200 kHz operation gives the B60 two different beam patterns for different fishing conditions. The 50 kHz element uses a wider 45-degree beam for deeper-water coverage, while 200 kHz narrows the beam to 12 degrees for more focused detail; the transducer also provides depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing.

The bronze housing extends only about 5 mm outside the hull, making it well suited to center-console and trailered boats where a low-profile installation is desirable.
