Description
The Airmar B60 20-degree thru-hull transducer combines a 600-watt dual-frequency element with a low-profile bronze housing and a 9-pin Navico xSonic connection. Its Tilted Element design fixes the ceramic at a 20-degree angle inside the housing so the sonar beam can point more directly downward when installed on a compatible deadrise hull.
At 50 kHz, the B60 uses a wide 45-degree beam for broader deep-water coverage, with rated depth performance to 1,200 feet under suitable conditions. At 200 kHz, the 12-degree beam provides a narrower view and rated depth performance to 700 feet, while the sensor also reports fast-response water temperature.
Because the bronze housing extends only about 3/16 inch outside the hull, the B60 is a practical option for center-console and trailered boats where a traditional fairing block is undesirable. The bronze housing is intended for compatible fiberglass or wood hulls, and this version is configured for Navico xSonic systems. Browse more fish finders for related equipment.
Key Features
- 20-degree element compensates for hull deadrise: The ceramic is tilted inside the housing so the beam can be aimed more vertically without a large external fairing block.
- 50 and 200 kHz sonar in one transducer: A wider low-frequency beam supports deeper coverage while the narrower high-frequency beam provides more focused detail.
- Low-profile bronze housing: The housing projects only a small distance outside the hull, helping preserve a clean underwater profile on suitable boats.
- Built for Navico xSonic connection: This version uses a 9-pin xSonic connector for compatible Navico sonar installations.
