Airmar B60 20° Bronze Navico xSonic Transducer

The Airmar B60 20° Bronze Navico xSonic Transducer is a 600 watt, 50/200 kHz dual-frequency depth and temperature transducer with Airmar's Tilted Element design. The ceramic element sits at a fixed 20 degree tilt inside the housing, which suits hulls with 16 to 24 degree deadrise. With the transducer mounted nearly flush, that tilt cancels out the hull angle and points the beam straight down for the strongest echo returns. That gives more accurate depth readings than a flush mount with no tilt.

The 50 kHz frequency has a wide 45 degree beam that reads depth to about 1,200 ft. The 200 kHz frequency has a 12 degree beam that reads to about 700 ft with more detail. A fast-response water temperature sensor is built in.

The low-profile housing sticks out only 3/16 in below the hull and does not affect how the boat runs, which suits center consoles and trailered boats. It needs a 2-3/8 in hole, has a 2.7 in usable shaft and weighs about 3 lb, and Airmar rates it for boats up to about 26 ft. This version ends in a 9-pin connector for Navico xSonic displays, including Lowrance and Simrad units that use that connector. The bronze housing is for fiberglass or wood hulls, so check your hull material before ordering.
