Shurtape 72mm Blue Hull Preservation Tape

The Shurtape 72mm Blue Hull Preservation Tape is a 9.0-mil UV-resistant polyethylene marine tape designed for temporary hull protection during transportation and outdoor storage. Its synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive combines strong adhesion with the conformability needed to follow common marine surfaces.

The 72 mm tape is supplied in 33 m (36 yd) rolls and is engineered to maintain a watertight seal while resisting humidity and outdoor exposure. The hull-preservation formulation is also designed for clean removal with little to no residue after temporary protection.

Because hull finishes vary, the manufacturer recommends testing a small area before full application to reduce the possibility of lifting a top layer of paint or finish during removal. The listed service-temperature range is 14°F to 158°F.
