ACR Firefly Pro SOLAS Strobe Light

The ACR Firefly PRO SOLAS is a rescue strobe with three activation functions: ultra-bright strobe, SOS strobe and steady-on.

This is the manual version of the Firefly PRO. The WATERBUG model adds a water sensor that switches on automatically when submerged, and this one does not. That makes it the choice where the light is deployed deliberately rather than relied on to activate for an unconscious wearer, and it costs less accordingly.

Wide-emission LEDs produce a true 360 degree beam at 41 candela, visible from over three miles. Cool white output has no yellow cast, which reads more clearly at distance. One set of AA lithium cells runs it strobing for over 56 hours or steady-on for 28, exceeding USCG and SOLAS requirements by more than 48 hours.

The compact casing fits inside an inflatable life jacket or a pocket, and the military-spec shell survives years of hard use.
