The Xantrex TRUEcharge3 is a 60A three-bank 12V charger with power factor correction and universal 90-265VAC input.
Power factor correction is the feature that separates this from a conventional charger, and it changes what the boat draws from the dock. An uncorrected charger pulls considerably more current from the pedestal than its actual power consumption suggests. Correction closes that gap, so a 60A charger fits a shore supply that would otherwise trip.
