The Xantrex DC Battery Cable and Fuse L-Kit has pre-terminated 4-gauge cables around 8 feet long with a fuse block, for 1400W to 2300W inverters.

L against XL is the inverter size the kit suits: 1400 to 2300 watts here, 2400 to 3000 in the larger version. Matching the kit to the inverter is what makes the cable and fuse ratings correct, and fitting an L-kit to a 3000W inverter undersizes both.

Both kits use 8-foot cables, so the reach is the same and only the ratings differ. Measuring the actual path between bank and inverter before ordering matters either way, since a kit that falls short cannot be extended without adding a joint.
