Wichard 2.5 ft Proline Single Hook and Loop Tether

The Wichard Proline Single Hook/Loop Tether 2.5 ft connects a sailor’s harness to compatible deck safety equipment. Its 0.80 m flat webbing provides a short fixed-length connection for deck work. A double-action safety hook provides one of the tether connections. A webbing loop forms the second connection opposite its double-action safety hook.

The hook is designed for automatic closing with a double-action opening procedure. The V-Nose hook profile is intended to make engaging and releasing the hook easier. Reflective webbing features improve visibility in low light, as described by Wichard.

Wichard specifies ISO 12401:2009 compliance for this tether. Inspect the hooks, webbing, and stitching before each use. A marine tether does not replace an approved life jacket or other required safety equipment. Browse more sailing hardware for related deck and rigging equipment.
