Wichard 105mm HR Large Bail Stainless Snap Shackle

The Wichard HR Snap Shackle Large Bail 105mm is a snap shackle for connecting a sail-control line or related rigging fitting. A broad bail is suited to a connection involving more than one line. Wichard identifies 17-4 PH high-resistance steel for this fitting. The spring/plunger arrangement differs from the screw pin on a conventional shackle.

The release opens the hook when the connection needs to be changed. A lanyard can be fitted to the plunger on versions equipped for remote operation. The attachment geometry should be matched to the adjoining line, webbing, or hardware.
