The Wichard HR Snap Shackle with Large Bail is forged in High Resistance 17.4 PH stainless steel, with a large eye that allows several ropes to be attached at once, useful when one attachment point needs to serve multiple lines.

A swivel eye lets this shackle rotate freely for better sail orientation, and the plunger pin is set captive into the hook so it can never become detached. Opening is simple by pulling the plunger pin, with the option to attach a lanyard for remote operation.
