Wichard 3-Hook Fixed Line Elastic Safety Tether

The Wichard Elastic Safety Tether has three hooks in 316L stainless with polyamide webbing, combining a 1 to 2 meter elastic line and a 1 meter fixed line.

The overload indicator is the feature that matters most. It follows OSR ISAF recommendations and gives a visible warning that a tether has taken a serious load, so it is retired before it fails rather than after. A tether that has arrested a fall may look undamaged and be unsafe, which is exactly the failure this prevents.

Three hooks give real flexibility moving around a boat: two fluorescent double-action safety hooks that resist accidental release, and one quick-opening snap shackle for getting clear fast. The fluorescent color is functional. Confirming a proper connection at night or in rough weather should not need a torch and a second look.
