Whitecap 4-1/2 in Studded Stainless Folding Cleat

This Whitecap studded folding cleat has a 4-1/2 in cleat section that can fold down between uses. The studded arrangement should be checked against the deck's available mounting space. Its compact format is different from a long fixed cleat.

Whitecap lists an overall length of 4-9/16 in, an overall width of 1-3/8 in, and a depth of 1-5/8 in. Those dimensions are important when laying out the opening and underside clearance. Check that the folded and open positions leave room for safe line handling.

The fitting is intended for a small deck tie-off position rather than a large mooring cleat. Confirm the mounting pattern before drilling. The folding action can help reduce exposed hardware when the cleat is not in use. Explore more mounting and rigging hardware at CritPro.
